Rolston Celebration pdf photo

Following the re-opening of Rolston House, an event was thrown for the residents. It was extremely rewarding to hear first-hand how pleased they were with the finished result. Speeches celebrating the work were delivered, and a buffet was provided for residents and their families.

Works included the internal conversion and remodelling of a sheltered housing scheme. Studio flats with communal bathrooms were remodelled to create new self-contained 1 no. bedroom units, and communal areas were refurbished and redesigned. The major remodelling project lasted 49 weeks and involved a phased decant process for residents. We also worked very closely with a Consultant Ecologist due to bats in the roof space.

The final completed work satisfaction survey for Rolston House residents has provided us with very encouraging feedback, averaging 98% satisfaction. This was an improvement on the 97% satisfaction recorded half way through works, indicating that our efforts to implement positive changes were successful. The very positive responses included comments referring to the helpfulness of our workforce and numerous residents stated that the refurbishments had transformed their flats into homes.
