For the ninth year running, the Niblock team rolled up their sleeves, put on their aprons, and brought out their best sweet and savoury creations for our much-loved, annual ‘Bake Off’ Competition and Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
A big congratulations to Jordan Jenkins, who was crowned Star Baker this year with her delicious chocolate chip banana bread.
Thank you to everyone who took part with such enthusiasm and generosity. Your efforts helped raise vital funds for Macmillan, a charity that provides essential support to those affected by cancer.
Today, we turn yellow in recognition of Maddie Rose Day – a day dedicated to celebrating the life and lasting impact of Maddie Rose Hollamby. Maddie was passionate about highlighting the diverse and fulfilling career opportunities within the construction industry to inspire young people to pursue a future in the sector. Yellow was Maddie’s favourite colour and symbolises the positivity she brought to those around her. By adopting this colour, we honour her memory and support the incredible work being done in her name.
