Social Value

We believe construction is more than delivering projects – it’s about creating a long-lasting impact

Through close collaboration with our clients, residents, and local partners, we actively embed social value into every project we deliver.

We take pride in creating opportunities that go far beyond the physical construction process. Whether it is providing training and apprenticeships for young people, supporting individuals into employment, or offering educational workshops in local schools, we are passionate about helping people develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive. Our commitment to community engagement means we listen carefully to local voices and work alongside stakeholders to deliver projects that reflect the needs of those who live in the area.

By integrating social, economic, and environmental value into our projects, we aim to leave a lasting legacy – one that enhances lives, supports local communities, and builds a better future for all.

We are committed to adding value

We add value where it matters – across every corner of the social landscape

We are proud to have partnered with organisations that are committed to making a difference.

Thank you for giving your time to support us. Introducing young people to inspirational role models from the world of work is highly effective in generating that first spark of interest that can make all the difference to their futures. We can’t thank you enough.

Michelle Asamoah, Construction Youth Trust

Thank you all so much for the time & effort you put into ensuring the day was meaningful to our Youth Partners!!

Martell Lindsay, Youth Build

The mock assessment was very helpful and insightful — I learned a lot about teamwork.

Year 12 Student, CYT Workshop

The social value decorator from Niblock was great last week. He was very courteous and worked very hard, I’m honestly not sure it would have been finished in time had he not been working with us! Thank you so much for sorting this for us.

Sarah, Front Room Community Centre

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your support with the Big Build session at St Saviour’s & St Olave’s school with my Year 9 group; the students loved it!

It really brings the industry to life when our students meet people that actually work in construction.

Construction Youth Trust

May I take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to Jodie and John for taking time out of their business schedules to visit and deliver an inspiring session to our Electrical Students. The attendance was the best out of all the Employer Engagement Series we have had this year.

Frederick Asiedu, London South East Colleges

My highlight was the task where we paired up to talk about experiences and how to relate them to questions from interviewers.

Year 12 Student, Rivers Academy

It was fantastic to have Jodie attend our session and provide insight on the construction and built environment sector, the students were particularly interested in hearing about the apprenticeships available at Niblock. During the session Jodie also supported the students with an activity encouraging them to look at the transferrable skills! Thank you for all of your support, it was fantastic to have you along!

Holly Fanshawe, Construction Youth Trust

Please pass my congratulations & thanks on to your team for the skydive raising over £5,000!  What an incredible achievement for you all & your heroics have secured an amazing amount of support for our charity – thank you.

Fresh Visions Charity

It was such a pleasure to welcome Jodie to the Year 11 “CV surgery with an employer” at Jo Richardson school. The students really appreciated her appraisal of their CV’s and absolutely took on board her invaluable advice. They were especially interested in hearing about the apprenticeships available at Niblock! Jodie, we really appreciate you! Thank you for your unwavering support.

Wendy Heller, Construction Youth Trust

Katie played an integral part in this fun and lively session, introducing herself and the work of Niblock confidently, while encouraging engagement from the young people throughout. We covered a range of topics including how to demonstrate integrity and respect in the workplace and Katie gave excellent examples of how to deal with various workplace pressures all while remaining polite and professional. It was clear the young people appreciated the insights she could offer.
